Real Estate Opportunites in Qiryat-Ono
Qiryat-Ono is a small city in Israel with a land extension of 5 square km and a very small population of about thirty five thousand people. It was initially established as a village in 1939 but in response to the continual growth of the place it attained the city status in 1992. Since then it has been showing very good developments in and around.
Though Qiryat-Ono was very recently incorporated as a city, it has shown vast developments both economically, industrially and socially. Therefore there have been varied effects on the real estate business in the city. Due to the very low population, the real estate business is often dull in the city. That also means that there is not much change over of properties from hand to hand. But the resale prices are quite a bit higher because of the demands for homes in the small city.
The majority of population here are non-Arabs and Jews. Hence these people live in clusters in and around the small city. Certain parts are cleared for the traditional Arabs. Since the population density is a bit higher in the city, most people prefer multi-storey apartments which are more profitable for the buyers. Statistics show that the number of apartments and individual houses are evenly distributed in the city.
The major housing areas are in the neighborhoods of Kir’on, Rimon and Yaron. They mostly comprise of multi-storey apartments populated with common sects. Basically a very small city, there are only about ten schools in the city. Also, the basic amenities for household are obtained in those areas. Therefore properties for residential purposes are concentrated around those areas.
Qiryat-Ono is situated about six miles close to the large city of Tel-Aviv. Hence the transportation facilities do not pose a problem though it is a small city. There is good means of bus transport to Tel-Aviv and to the other southern places of Israel. Therefore, there isn’t much harm for people occupying spaces in the city.
On the whole, when real estate business is considered, it has not proved itself to be a profitable place for the promoters.
